This new exam will be tested for the first time in October 2017, with full details of the CII syllabus being made available during July.

At the end of this unit candidates will be able to demonstrate their knowledge, understanding and skill in applying the following topic areas:
o Explain fundamental aspects of the pension transfer process;
o Explain the implications of transferring between different types of pensions; and
o Advise on pension transfers in a range of client specific circumstances and scenarios
As you would expect, we will be providing revision sessions for this exam, details of which can be found on the right on this page.
If you attend one of our courses and fail to pass the exam (although we don't think you will), we will continue to provide written and telephone technical support for future sitting of the exam.

Revision days for AF7 take place after the client fact-find has been released. The session will be run by a Chartered Financial Planner who has passed the exam and will include tips on exam technique. During the session the client fact find will be taken apart and analysed piece by piece. The cost of the revision day includes our exam guarantee, whereby if you fail (although we don't think you will) we will continue to provide our written analysis to future exams until you do pass.
